Use the full-tank method..
1. Magpa-full tank ka.
2. Then drive drive drive.
3. Full tank again
4. Divide the number of kilometers ran and the Liters of fuel it took to fill up your tank.
Example:
100 Kilometers
Divided by
7.9 Liters
= 12.66km/L

2008 Toyota Vios 1.3E
90% City driving + 10% Highway: Around 12km/L
Pure Highway driving (once ko pa lang na-compute, and currently my best FC): 20.64km/L

May 26th, 2010 05:19 PM #41993 Mitsubishi Lancer EL 1.3 carbureted:
City = 11-12 km/liter
Highway = 16-17 km/liter
Natry ko sa highway, 1st gear, up to 45 km/hr; 2nd gear, 80 km/hr; at 3rd gear 120 km/hr, around 12 km/liter ang fuel consumption ko.

June 18th, 2010 05:55 PM #7When I still had my 1993 Corolla XE same din kay jojomon ^^^^^
City driving 9-11km/ltr
Highway 13-15/km/ltr
Gentle lang sa gas pedal as in 1inch na apak lang, then let the engine accelerate gently. Then I shift at 2k RPM and not more than 2,5k RPM if uphill.
Relax driving lang since I know my engine is just a 1.3 so I dont expect much power and reving it like hell wont make it faster.

i don't like hybrids so corolla cross is out for me. but i'd consider a non-hybrid corolla cross...
