Fading paint on hood

Ive noticed that the paint on hood on the center part keeps fading. Does it have anything to do with the engine? Might be too hot? Corolla 1997 gli 1.6 here.

normally nangyayari yan pag manipis na ang coat of paint or luma na ang paint.
kung bagong pintura, it could be that the paint is not properly cured or not properly layered.

tama ang solution, put an insulator below the hood. it helps.

I'm also bewildered by this, I personally haven't experience hood paint fading in any of our vehicles. Either vehicles with or without hood insulation.

Lalo mag fade yan if i-rubbing mo. Rubbing compound will remove paint. Repaint lang ang solution as mentioned above.

effect na din siguro iyan ng years of constant exposure sa uv rays. ang colors na may shades of red pa naman ang pinakamabilis o mas prone magfade kapag matagal na tinatamaan ng hagupit ng uv rays

Hamog sa umaga yan na natutuyo pagsikat ng araw, nagiging stain na magaspang hanggang mag fade.
Try mo ipolish kung matatangal pa if nandun pa din repaint na yan

Try using meguiars ultimate compound

Di ba too far gone na yung paint for rubbing compound? Kasi parang faded na talaga. Unless what I'm seeing is something like oxidation on top of the clear coat.

In a way. Washover means repainting the whole exterior of the car. Repaint can be per panel, part or the whole car.

Other possible work around if ayaw mo repaint is palitan mo ng carbon fiber yung hood or patungan ng carbon sticker.

Pwede rin foil wrap on hood. Matte color.
