I remember this "seasoned" engineer from a very known fast craft operator down south. When 4 pumps [2 on starboard and 2 on portside since the catamaran boat has two 16V engines, mas malaki pa sa Hummer ni Jappy ang makina] of their fast craft vessel came in for repairs. We explained to him what was the repair procedure that has to be undertaken. At this point pa lang he already contested the procedure and he insisted on his "own" calibrating techniques. So after much argument, a compromise was reached, a waiver of claims was signed by him.

It turns out that the fuel of the catamaran was contaminated with kerosene and when we opened the pump [as in big pumps, 4 people had to carry one alone] the parts were badly damaged it was already beyond repair. But he still insisted that it was ok. So we just followed what he wanted and gave them back the pumps after a few days.

You know what happened next? I leave it to your imagaination....

Patanong lang po....kun ano ang moral of the story?

    Is it:

Never have a seasoned engineer managing your catamaran...

    Or is it:

Never use kerosene on a seasoned engineer...

    :?: :!:

nagatatanong lang po

um... the seasoned engineer lost his credibility, career and never again worked even with his other excisting clients... so he ended up surfing for a job at the net... discovered tsikot.com... posted his experience... spend all day reading posts made by other peeps... now he's got something better to do in his life, rather than work his *$$ of. hehe joke
