Guys help naman, My ride is 97 ssangyong musso A/T gas. Lately, bigla na lang parang nagbobog down yung engine nya slowly until it completely stops? Pero pag ni re start ko naman ok na ulit. parang nirereset lang tapos good to go na ulit? bakit kaya ganon? Although it happens only once in a while and when it happens i usually look at the instrument panels and no signs of "check engine" or "check transmission" is evident? Otherwise, suggest naman kayo ng shop na pede kong pagcheck up an, kasi from what i've learned, e mercedes ang engine and transmission nito kaya di ko naman maipacheck basta basta. Laguna nga pala location ko. Any shops in Metro Manila is ok. Any help from you guys will appreciated.

    Dirty Throttle Body?

Kapapalinis ko lang ng sakin. Sinabay ko na rin ang oil change.

    Look: http://forum.fordclubph.com/viewtopic.php?p=21734#21734

Yung sa akin, after ng start-up biglang mamatay.

Use throttle body cleaner, spray mo sa TB then punasan/brush mo ung carbon build-up. Naninikit kasi ung dumi kaya nahihirapan magbukas sara ang TB.

mahal ang MAF Sensor. yan na lang muna.

    Hope that helps.

If throttle and filter are ok, maybe you need to check the gas tank. A bit old school but sometimes there are a-hole gas fillers that put paper or other things in your tank. If the filter is really dirty you might want to have your tank checked in case there are impurities that came from the gas stations.

It may also be helpful if you can think back to what you did to the car just before and up to a week before the problem first started. Was there any work done on the engine? When was your last tune-up?

engine stalls at low speed??
