    ang pagkaka-alam ko and sabi rin sa akin ng isang oil maker eh ang recommended sa atin eh ang single grade or mono grade oil.

    reason;

    dagdag presyo ang multi grade o yung may winter grade in w/c hindi naman applicable sa atin kya mas mura pag single grade lang.

    30-40 ok na viscosity yan sa atin. (tropical zone)

    check the back of your manual to see what the viscosity should be for your specific engine.

    I guess you need to follow the manufacturers recommendation esp yong mga late models. One summer time, nagpalit ako from 5 - 30 to 10 -30 ( mobil sync ) , ramdam yong hirap ng makina, parang sakal, so i have to changed it again....

    ON tropical climate like philipines the best is 15w-50 or 20w-50.No to oil additives,they just want your money.Change it hot,change it often.
