Guys, is it true that as these engines age over time, the engine noise become prominent and engine vibration increases and nothing can be done to restore it to its original state?

A friend who owns a 2006 diesel innova and a 2008 sta fe attests to this based on his experience. He has religiously performed pms on his vehicles

kahit hindi CRDI/Di-D, kahit indirect injection diesels medyo magkakaroon ng increase in vibration due to wear and tear as the engine ages... pero hindi dapat prominent or even abrupt..

Vibration naman mainly comes from the worn rubber dampers or engine clearances that increases overtime...
    normal lang yan sir...

mas nakakatakot ang engine na hindi nagkaka wear and tear....

If you want to restore the vehicle to its original state, you have to replace all the engine mounts (good luck if they're liquid filled... Liquid filled mounts cost several times as much), the underhood insulation (modern cars like e Santa Fe have sound absorbing foam under the engine cover that degrades with time and heat) and, often, the flywheel.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

it is common in all type of diesel engine...diesel eh, iingay yan habang tumatagal talaga..sa hyundai accent CRDi nga e, nung brandnew kala mo gasoline engine sa tahimik na tahimik while at idle mas malakas pa yung blowing noise ng radiator fan niya but after a year, kahit idle noticable na yung noise niya,

This is actually interesting to note how the injectors of common rail diesel engines (regardless of car brand) fare with our "dirty" local diesel in, say, after 10 years.. Will they be that super expensive to repair when they have seen better days. At that point in time, we will know the most reliably-made common rail engine...

High quality fuel filters and oil filters will prevent such expensive repairs...
basta quality and performing fuel filters hindi makakalusot mga particulates that could cause problems with the fuel delivery system...hehe.

Well... considering hardly any regular AUV diesels get to 500k with our dirty local fuel without an overhaul (or without needing one), anyway...

kadalasan me matataas na mileage .yung mga kotse na pang gobyerno or red plate .

Engine noise and vibration as they age (d4d, DiD, Crdi, tci, etc)
