I'm due to replace my Engine Oil, pero hindi ko alam kung anong oil gagamitin ko. I have this discount coupon sa shell, pero if there are other oil brands na ok other than Helix, il go for it. Ano kaya ok na engine oil, synthetic and non synthetic, medyo low budget kasi tayo eh, kaya i'm not sure kung kuha ako synthetic oil kasi mahal, nasa almost 2000 per 4 liters. Kayo po ano gamit nyong oil for your cars? Thanks!

havoline formula sa 95 rolla gli ko at a change interval of 10,000km. sulit na sulit sa presyo na P460 4liters from handyman. the energy was around P980 4liters sa handyman pero lately nakita ko may price increase yata.

i used castrol before (yung katapat lang ng formula) pero hindi umaabot ng 10,000km maitim na yung oil unlike the h. formula.

ano ba tong DELO 500? Hindi ba pang diesel lang talaga to? have heard bout it before pero not much info.

I use Havoline Energy and recently LiquiMoly galing kay autoxer. LiquiMoly looks weird too. kulay syang putik.
    Pero k naman sya.

    havoline energy = mineral based
    havoline formula = synthetic

    Glenn,
    anong klaseng castrol binebenta nyo?

    infos lang po:

Havoline Fully Synthetic SAE 5W-40 API Service SJ - fully synthetic oil for gasoline engines
-I'm currently using this...first fuel economy of my ride(city driving): 7.96 kms/ltr(I seldom reach 8 kms/ltr) with Havoline Energy

Q: What benefit can synthetic oils provide?

A: Synthetic oils resist heat and degradation longer than mineral oils. The additive package as indicated by its API rating, provides the performance benefit for the engine. Thus, a mineral API-SJ oil will outperform a synthetic API-SG oil.

Havoline Energy SAE 5W-30 API Service SJ - synthetic(semi) (mineral-based with synthetic base fluids) oil for gasoline engines
-will really improve your fuel economy...fuel economy of my ride(city driving): from 5-6 kms/ltr to 7.79 kms/ltr (average)

Havoline Formula SAE 20W-50 API Service SL -mineral based oil for gasoline engines;highest API rated gasoline engine oil in the market today

Delo 500 Multigrade SAE 15W-40 API Service CG-4/CF/SJ - rated for high soot dispersancy. meets MB 228.1 and Volvo VDS for superior detergency, meets European ACEA E2-96, tjhe Japanese CD and Mack EO-L specifications. Additionally, this product uses Group 2 base oils which resist heat better than conventional, Group 1 base oils. Group 2 base oils are made purer by hydrocracking process and are, therefore, water white in color, (finished product is dark because the additive package is black). They have much lower Aromatics Content, below 1% as against 20-30% with Group 1 base oils. Aromatics in the base oils have been asociated with ionic and electrostatic charges that cause soot agglomeration, and thus, thickening. You can be sure of better control of oil-soot thickening with this product.

Can be used for both diesel engines(require oils with API-"C" rating)and gasoline engines(require oils with API-"S" rating)because of its dual API ratings.
