engine break while running

is it possible po ba na hindi kumagat yung preno while running around 60kph above?kapag biglang namatay yung makina due to drained battery (alternator problem)or you were run out of gas (gauge problem) etc.? thanks po.

the brakes will still function however the braking force will be diminished as the vacuum in the brake booster is depleted. the brake pedal will be harder since there is no longer power (vacuum) assist. if you are asking about engine braking, the engine compression is used to slow a vehicle down to a stop by downshifting one gear at a time but not to go as low as first gear, between second gear to first gear is not synchronized

possible pa naman na kumagat ang preno since may hangin pa sa brake booster pero
i think for one to two foot press na lang, after that matigas na ang foot brake kaya
mababawasan ang lakas ng preno. IMO you can use your hand brake.
