It does not live up to its claim. And at the price they are selling it, parang holdap. Just keep your vehicle well maintained and you won't have a need for these space age (kuno) stuff.

its simply cheaper to do your regular tune-up than to buy those "as-seen-on-tv" items. My mom knows the owner and even HE said not to buy those items he advertises!!

In most cases kasi these additives do wonders on older, slightly out of spec cars as opposed to newer, no problem cars... Personally nung ginamit ko sa 84 na Cherokee ko ang duralube ang laki talaga diff, sa corolla wala... hehe

i used lubricant/detergent/protectant in my older cars (a 92 civic and 93 mr2 turbo)...the verdict is that they are good for preventive measures and for minor cleaning of the fuel system - they definitely are not miracle workers and i wouldn't pay a lot of money for them (paid $5 for a bottle every month or so)

also, some of these additives are merely octane boosters that make your car run noticably better, but only until the fuel runs out...

As said in the owners manual of our honda: Adding Oil/ Fuel additives is not necessary. Since all it does is increase the cost of maintaining/operating your car.

AFAIK... x-1r nalang ata ang available sa US MARKET na oil additives....
nabasa ko sa FTC.GOV na wala na ang
prolong, dura lube, slick 50 and motor up... na demanda ata sila for false ads.... napatunayan kasi na fake yung mga claims nila

however... wala kang mababasa regarding X-1R which is a good thing... ibig sabihin di sila na dembanda ng Federal Trade Commission sa US...

yan ang kagandahan sa US.. pag deceptive ang ads... sigurado ma demanda agad yan at maipasara.... dito kasi sa atin sa pinas.... try it for yourself lagi and ikaw na bahala... bale wala ang govt... di sila na action sa mga deceptive ads dito...

    KAYA GO FOR X-1R

    pls check the link
