Toyota Phils released a memo (dated Aug 4, 2006) declaring that all Toyota " '06 model year" are "capable of using bio-ethanol up to 10% blend (E10).

But if its me, I will try to avoid E10 if possible, bec. nobody has a clear idea on how on the use of such fuel (e10) may or may not have long term effects on the vehicle.

I think its inevitable that ethanol will be blended into all kinds of gasoline. I read from the other forum that even Shell has blended their ultra premium Velocity with 10% ethanol.

this has been discussed in the forum lots of times. your options:

    - wait for the components to wear down, and replace with ethanol resistant components
    - do an engine swap from carbed to EFi
    - do a conversion to LPG
    - live with it, and go back to item 1.
