yellow::: I agree with afrasay! Mas ok na ang wala nito. Incovenient po kasi mag baklas coz to get to the injection pump, baklas pa ng intercooler assembly. Its better to get a k&N inline fuel filter IMHO. mahal but in the long run, worth it :D

Oo nga, better change the fuel filter regularly. I wonder why they still put a strainer pa, eh may fuel filter naman... lumulusot pa ba ang dumi dun?

dieseler::: apparently it still does. kasi ayon sa kuwento nila nagba-bara pa eh :D I seriously think a secondary inline filter will be better. :D

Mas maganda nga kung may inline fuel filter pa. At least di na kailangan mag tanggal ng strainer. Pero para sakin ok na yung strainer, lalo sa walang intercooler na babaklasin, madali naman tanggalin. Wala pa akong gastos.

Don;t forget to cool down the engine's turbo after hard use. Let it idle for a while, 1-2mins. before shutting it down. Prevents oil varnish forming on the turbo's impeller shaft. I have a turbo on my car, and its 5 years old. My friend has a turbo as well in his Trooper, and after only 2 years bumigay na yung turbo kasi hindi pinapalamig yung makina or more importantly, the turbo.

If you don't have the patience to wait, buy a turbo timer.

    re: Zexel
I've been getting my L-300 calibrated sa kanila thrice na, pwede kaya kung ako na lang ang bibili ng mga nozzles (orig at naksealed naman ung pagkukunan ko at reputable store) and other parts para makamenos.

A clean air filter does wonders for emissions. Of course, kung reusable ang air filter mo, then you don't have to replace it.
Dati orig na binibili kong air filter P1,200 + but I have to regularly have it clean sa gas station. And hindi rin masyadong malinis (still dark ang color). Now sa BestColt P180 lang, mas mura pa rin kay Glenn, I could change filter every 2 months or every month. Bawi pa rin.

pwede din i-soak the old original air filter( well of course, after examining carefully for tiny holes made by strong compressed air under a garage trouble light, and well glued pa ang filter paper nito) overnight sa joy dishwashing solution, rinse and let it dry. medyo puputi at serviceable pa.
