April 3rd, 2006 01:35 PM #1basically when you say engine tune up on diesel engines what do you have to check and what are the parts that needs replacement?aside from changing the oil,oil filter,fuel filter,air filter?thanks

Usually it also includes adjustment of the engine valves. Other items escape me at the moment.

i have a toyota lucida. where can i have it tuned?
does not belch smoke when newly started till about after 2Kms or 10 minutes. need enlightenment here, please?
does anybody how to bypass the EGR (Exhaust Gas Return) valve? i also want to have this done.
