hey guys. i recently had my PMS.

It's bad because it will cause the oil to foam resulting in less lubrication than if it was at the correct level.

Subukan mo uminom ng foam ng frappucinno. Nakakawala ba ng uhaw? Hindi, diba. Kasi puro foam lang. Ganon ang nararanasan ng makina mo ngayon.

Actually if its not too much, i dont think it will harm your engine. I usually put more oil past the dipstick on my trick FJ, this to have more oil when i'm driving at extreme angle.

If you want to drain it, just remove the drain plug under the oil pan.

Which Isuzu casa recommended that??? Inteco ba yan? I suggest you let them drain the excess, and refund your money.

Lunod ang makina, mahihirapan lalo umandar. Just follow the drain plug procedure and estimate a liter off.

Ig grossly over-filled, yes, it's bad for the engine. Drain it, if you value your engine.

But if it's just a little over the "full" level, then it'll be fine. The diesel engine will just consume the excess.

How did you fill it up anyway? One should fill, measure, fill, measure, until satisfied.

    OT! Paolorenzo!
grabe oo nga eh. nung nabasa ko ulet ung post ko. napa dalawang isip ako nun ah! parang may mali sa grammar. hahahah
anyway, a few good laughs wont hurt anyone! pasko naman eh!

    MERRY XMAS EVERYONE!

A little above the max mark is ok. Your engine will consume that in weeks time. Btw, check your oil after couple of days after draining to see if the oil is enough.

di ba 6 liters ang kailangan ng engine ng XUV? i took my XUV sa casa for its PMS, they put in 6 liters of oil in the engine.

check ko yung manual mamaya to see if 6 liters nga ang capacity ng engine.

correct. the problem with filling the engine with oil above the MAX level is that it WILL put too much pressure on the oil seals.

Yup, you guys are correct that the excess oil will get consumed, but isnt this a symptom of a blown engine? Oil forcing its way through the piston rings? If thats fine with you then by all means overfill your crankcase. Safe naman kasi while between the min and max markers of the dipstick. i see no reason why go over it.

    isa pa ulit na "NO"....
