February 7th, 2006 03:13 PM #1Guys,
May alam ba kayo na pwedeng mag increase ng performance ng diesel engine?
Something like Khaos (tama ba spell ko?).
Or something like turbo charger...
Napuna ko kaci yung adventure ko pati mejo hirap na sya na umangat sa 140... although syempre nandun yung khowledge na more than 4 years na sya. minsan kaci try ko ihirit mejo hirap na samanatalang dati 160 ok pa ako na ang pigil...
About what's the best diesel fuel... I think you can not rely on their brand itself but to the product...
Fuel companies do have this so called product exchange where in if your refinery is located in south then you do exchange to those who have refinery or depot near your dealers (gasoline station). you will never know kung yung gamit nyo is really coming from shell, petron and so on...

Tune up, oil change, have your diesel injectors cleaned.
I don't know kung possible ang turbo swap sa Mitsu... unlike yung XWind, wala siyang turbo version, diba?
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

What I mean, bro, is that in the Crosswind, there's the possibility of swapping to the turbo version of the same engine (I think... don't know if anyone here has done it).
But there's not much hope in that, turbos for diesel won't give you that much top end power (not without breaking something, I'd think). Yung turbo na XWind nga is just about as slow as the regular one. Talagang mabagal lang ang mga AUV...

I guess, you just have to lower your expectation sa AUV. It's more of a utility and people carrier than a high performance vehicle. Mitsu intended it to be that way. Btw, 140kph for your AUV is already good!
But.... if you have the budget, why not sell your AUV and buy a good 2nd hand SUV. A 4m40 blister-fendered pajero would be nice....

wag ka na maglagay ng khaos.. lethal sa kotse yan..
wag na din turbo charger.. masyadong magastos.. madaming papalitan sa loob ng makina.

Yes, Medyo OT. Sometimes we are expecting too much for our vehicle. An AUV or SUV is not a race car but rather a 'people-mover" vehicle as PK puts it. Tow days ago I was a FORD EVEREST with all graffity (did I spell it right) on the body was parked along madrigal street in Ayala alabang, a stone-throw away from Ford Alabang office. The body was painted all over with remarks such as "We pay 1.3M pesos to Ford Alabang last 09/28/05 and only offer P975K to buy back, Lemon Car (on the hood)", " Its a Lemon ... drives like a Jeefney!!!(rear window)", " Bad Rear End!!! (on rear side). Hey what do you expect for a ride in leaf spring suspension. I got a photos on my cell but can't post it here as my phone IR is not working. I can send the photo thru sms and maybe somebody would like to post it here. Just PM me your cell number.
My Ford SYNC just updated itself. Anyone here knows what was updated?
