Throughout these forums, recommendations made by some members are to disassemble or tear components apart to verify faults, wear and tear and malfunctions similar to autopsies performed on dead bodies. Imagine our healthcare performed by our car "doctors". A possibly healthy car gets killed in the process of what they say as "diagnosis" performed as an autopsy. Car owners beware of this. Guesswork or unnecessary tear down by incompetent diagnosticians( morticians) is not the norm

it's not a good idea to "tear into" cars that are still under warranty, especially if the tearer-downer is not educated to do such...
after the warranty, however... well, we all have to start somewhere..

If you tear down a problematic or malfunctioning car, it decreases its value to zero. If you sell it at 50% or less, you still has the residual value. This gives the others the option again, to autopsy or diagnose the problematic car.

1- the camshaft lost lubrications and has seized
2-the injector/s is/are leaking making the piston hydrolock
    3-the crankshaft is seized.
4-funny as it seems, maybe an alternator, idler pulley, water pump or other accessory might be seized restricting free movement of the crankshaft pulley.
5-if it was a manual transaxle equipped car, the clutch or transaxle maybe locked up
6-hopefully, not your pistons seized in the cylinder bore.
