don't know if thats considered cold air intake but it does take in colder air. my 126 benz has that hose layout. and its the original set-up of benz. the air intake hose sucks in air before the radiator.
base sa pag google ko parang ganun nga operation ng cold air intake. try ko siguro pag naka hanap ako ng magandang routing ng mga hose. kasi pag masyado marami yung baloktot cold air intake nga pero restricted flow naman wala din silbe.
