Check Engine Lights Up

Hi sirs,

Naglilight-up po yung check engine ng kotse ko. I first noticed this, four months ago, after I had an engine wash. I've made a research and I read na it happens pag daw may nabasang wiring or something. Solution was to remove the battery then ikabit ulit. It worked! Ngayon, naglilight-up na naman sya. I wonder if may alam po kayong pwede kong pagpatingnan? Somewhere in Makati, Bicutan, or nearby areas po sana...

Why don't you just do the same thing as last time. Over time moisture may dry up.

if it worked before, it will work again unless something is wrong. maybe an OBD scan will pinpoint the problem..

Pa scan mo na lang muna para ma pin point ang problem and never have your engine washed in the future.

ok lang magpa engine wash...basta tanggalin ang battery- negative saka pa spray ng hangin gamit ng compresor para siguradong tuyong tuyo ang mga wiring..
saka ikabit ang battery

hindi nga po natanggal ang battery-negative. parang binalutan lang n plastic engine detail nlng next time hehe.
anyway, saan po kaya pwede magpa-OBD Scan? somewhere near paranaque or makati sana...

Ok magpa engine detail wag engine wash especially sa mga modern engine.

OBD scan para ma detect trouble codes. Marami jan sa area mo.

i don't think na may scanner for 3k pesos (or maybe i'm wrong he he). maybe a code reader. and besides di natin alam kung obd1 or obd2 yung car na may problema.
after getiing the fault code then what? shotgun the parts? baka mas lalong lumaki gastos. why not take the car to the pros.
