ganuon rin sabi ng kaibigan ko na nakalancer, kaso sa sentra hindi nawawala ang ilaw mga ilaw sa dash, ang mawawala lang pag nag hintay ka eh ang tunog ng fuel pump hwiiiiiiiiiiiii tokok ehehehe

hindi applicable ito sa mga sentras, dahil hindi namamatay yung CEL nila.
dun sa sentra ko, inaantay ko lang mawala yung parang hissing sound bago mag start, normally takes around 3 seconds.

Although, wala namang problem if you start the engine agad. Ako naman, naging habit ko lang to wait na mawala yung CEL to complete yung test & to see right away if may problem bago ko start yung engine. btw, i'm using Honda Civic. yung CEL nawawala after 3-5 secs.

'06 and up Civics will take like 20 or so seconds before the CEL goes out.

honda civics usually ganyan hissing sound pag ka on then check engine light goes off in 3 secs after the diags

just to revive this thread, because I was also told to wait for the CEL to turn off before starting the engine and have been doing it ever since but having to wait for 5secs. is long if you're just staring at the dashboard, which most of the time annoys me. so guys can we have a final verdict: HINTAYIN OR OK LANG WAG HINTAYIN mag-off ang CEL?
Choice I would have made as well.:nod:
