    I own a 92 mitsubishi galant gti, on our way drive to baguio the car engine suddenly hesitate. when i press my foot on gas, it always hesitate. the hesitation problem suddenly dissappear but the CHECK ENGINE on my dash is always lit. i don't know what the problem is. some says the fuel filter is clogged. your advice and point of view is very important. help please

    Pa-diagnose mo muna sa talyer kung anong CEL code yung binabato. (I'm not sure if the 92 Galant is OBD compliant, though). Para wala nang guesswork. Most reputable auto shops naman have an OBD scanner. Kung wala man, they know how to jump the wires, para malaman ang CEL code (the CEL will blink kasi).

    Based on the symptoms, I would say humihina ang fuel pressure (either sa injectors or sa fuel pump mismo). Or it could be the main relay.

    mga bossing, based on my research... initially, may kinalaman ba dito ang mass-air flow sensor ng auto ko? need some reply...

    i would say yes.may posibilidad na nagkaroon ng dumi ang sensor,kaya di nya masyadong nakuha ang exact reading ng air na pumapasok sa intake system kaya irratic din ang reading ng pcm at hindi sya makapagbigay ng tamang fuel sa system kaya nagkakaroon ng hesitation.at dahil sa lakas vacuum ng intake marahil ay nahigop o natanggal nya yung dumi sa sensor.pero hindi lang ito ang maaring maging dahilan ng engine hesitation, marami.pwedeng elictrical o fuel system.

    ang puede mong gawin,linisan mo yung sensor (ingat lang sa paglinis) at pagkatapos tanggalin mo yung negative battery cable to reset the module.maybe 30 seconds or more,or possible 15 minutes.at pagkatapos patakbuhin mo,kung hindi bumalik ang cel that means you fix it at kung bumalik ulit,meaning kailangan mo na ang tulong ng reputable shop.

    Any emissions-related sensor or control problem would likely cause the CEL. As has been suggested, it's best to have the DTC extracted otherwise, you'll be working blind.

    i also have the same problem pero ang ride ko, pajero 2.8L jdm.

    eto nangyari, nasa balintawak ako nang biglang umilaw lahat ng check lights ko, a/t temp, radiator, battery lights. pero ang oil pump ko, hindi umilaw. so ang lumabas, discharged ang battery ko at napilitan ako bumili ng bago since ang battery ko eh 3 years na. pero ang masama, kahit nung sinalpak ang bagong battery, hindi pa rin nawala ang check lights!
