    guys may prob yung Toyota SURF ng frend ko... nakailaw yung check engine niya, although pag nag hit yung turbo around 2000rpm nawawala... panu kaya maayos toh?

    May ECU kasi ang 2L-TE. You would need the diagnostic machine ng Toyota to 'pull the codes' from the ECU and find out what it wrong. Sometimes it can be as simple as a faulty sensor or a loose fuel cap.

    Sana hindi sablay ang pag-extend ng wiring harness niyan during coversion. Pwede din kasi pagmulan ng problema iyon.

    ok thanks otep! nangyari kasi yung unit pinalitan yung Head ng engine or i think replaced the whole engine but b4 that the old engine didnt have a check engine kaya nakakapagtaka lang rin...

    any reliable and reputable shops that u guys can refer us to?

    would really be great!

    Take it to the Toyota dealer muna para maisaksak sa diagnostic machine and find out what exactly the error codes are. Try the foreign Toyota forums regarding engine codes so they can help you out. Sorry, Mitsubishi boards lang kasi ang alam ko, eh. hehehehe. Never had a Toyota before.
