it is an effect of an "overly advanced" timing. if you're timing is stock (as per manufacturer specifications), it could be a faulty ignition or dirty combustion chamber (carbon deposits). as for the carbon deposits, it may sound a bit silly, but hataw driving could do the trick. change oil frequently, as well as other things plugs, filters.

Normal yung kumalog ang diesel engine sa very low idle, lalo na sa pag shut-down. Mataas kasi ang compression pressures ng mga diesel engines.

Meron additional device ang new diesel models para mabawasan ang pag kalog.

    So don't worry.

Do you mean just a little "shimmy & squeak"? That's normal on almost all diesels. The thing is, the combustion events in a diesel are so abrupt, ganoon din sa mga gas engine, that when you shut it down, the engine stops like RIGHT NOW, and the accessory belt keeps going momentarily, causing the squeak. The abrupt shut-down also causes a little shake when you shut the engine off. It's more pronounced in the Cummins than the PStroke or Dmax, but they all do it to some extent.

nangyare sakin din to, i did a research way back. engine support daw e sira pag may added vibration na sa engine and maybe yes pag pinapatay mas may nginig. sakin naman minsan lang ngyre yung nginig, ang naging solution for me is hinahataw ko minsan takbo.actually nangyari nnmn kanina umaga na nanginig nung nagpatay ako makina nung sa gas station, gnwa ko binirit ko ng mga 120km/hr sa highway. pagdating sa ofc ok na ulet, wala ng nginig pag patay. baka lang pareho tayo ng issue. ride is a hilander 2.5 slx

Kumakalog ang engine kapag pinapatay
