We have a '05 A/T altis. My brother called me and told me that the check oil lits up in the gauge.

He stopped at a gas station to have it check, the dipstick has no signs of oil in it. He tried dipping it for 5x wala talaga as in.

Now we wonder, last PM nun was june this year. No signs of oil leak.

How come naubusan ata ng engine oil?

    Help!

check the oil pressure sensor, it can drain your oil fast.

Di pa talaga ubos yon. May langis pa yan pero di na abot ng dipstick. Kasi dapat mag-seize yung engine kung totally natuyuan nang umaandar.

Better top-up with oil or kung due na, change oil na.

Baka pumping oil na ang Engine mo meaning ang lumalabas sa exhaust pipe mo ay white smoke. Ang cause nito loose pistons and rings. Simple to test run your Engine pagkatapos I-revolusiyon at high RPM if may white smoke na lumabas sa exhaust you need Engine Overhauling.

An engine can consume it's motor oil if there is a leak along the cylinder wall, pistons or pistons rings. Basically the oil ends up in the combustion chamber and gets burned with the fuel. A slow leak over a long time can consume the entire engine's volume of motor oil.

Short term fix - just add more motor oil and check time to time if it drops below a certain level.

Long term fix - engine overhaul to fix the oil leak.

That, or it may be as simple as valve guide seals.

    1. Check for visual oil leaks
    2. Check spark plugs for signs of oil contamination
    3. Compression test

Thanks everyone. As of now top-up muna ginawa, naka 2 liters din ang nailagay. Kaya im WTF! Where did the engine oil go?

Later try ko yung high rev and check for white smoke.

What does engine overhaul mean? Mukhang terminal case na yun ah.

Can your engine dry up its oil?
