I had a problem with my toyota surf 1KZ-TE engine when i pressed the accelerator the Tachometer does not increase more than 2000 even though you will fully press the gas pedal ... the engine is running normal. Engine check light OFF. please help! thank you and more power!!!

is your kickdown cable still attached? it is a cable wrapped in orange rubber connected via acceleration cable > fuel pump > a/t
