If the MIL (malfunction Indicator Lamp) or sometimes they call it CEL (check engine light) does not illuminate, your most likely problem would be a sticking Idle Motor Actuator (this controls you idle speed when you turn on you a/c, or stabilizes your idle speed whenever the computer detects from you a/c, p/s, headlamp.
