    Ano po ang gamit ninyong brake fluid at clutch fluid para sa civic? Kelangan ba po OEM? Salamat po

    Most cars use DOT3 fluid so any reputable fluid brand of the specification as required by your car (you can see it on the reservoir lid usually) will be okay. In my case i usually use Bendix fluid.

    ang civic ba po kahit brake fluid gamitin sa clutch fluid? so sa power steering lang po maselan ang civic. nabasa ko po kasi sa iba pag d oem nagkakaproblem. maraming salamat po sa mga reply

    Nagpaflushing po ako ng brake at clutch ang nilagay sa akin national. sabi kasi sa akin nung mekaniko. yung prestone mas matapang. nakakasira daw ng rubber. totoo ba ito?

    FYI, mas nakakasira ng rubber caps yung pagpalit ng brake fluid brand -- dahil sa biglang pag-iba ng property ng brake fluid. Maaring mag-shrink yung rubber (supposedly pinapa-expand ng brake fluid ang rubber caps to seal properly).

    So, recommended na magpalit ka lang ng brake fluid brand kapag nagpalit ka rin ng brake master assembly (or clutch master/secondary assemblies).

    Yup, matapang yung Prestone -- that's why mas maganda expansion ng rubber caps sa kanya.
    National, parang masyadong mababa ang boiling point (you'd easily get that spongy pedal feel sa sunod-sunod na hard braking).

    Either DOT 3 / DOT 4 ata pwede? Wag lang ata 5.1 unless recommended
