Any reviews on the phoenix 98? Mas mura kasi eh. 98 ron ba talaga yun or BS lang?

Yes it's really 98 RON. Hindi naman pwedeng hindi, the DOE tests that.
But as I've said time and time again, it's not about the RON but the base fuel and its additives. Most oil companies have similar base fuel (sometimes they even buy from each other). However, I haven't heard anyone transacting with Phoenix for fuel borrowing. Probably says something about their fuel quality, but this is just speculation.
Then there's the additives. God knows what R&D Phoenix has. But if you're concerned about price, then go ahead. Even if Phoenix turns out to be sub-par compared to other brands, it's still not far behind. Gasoline is gasoline and they're all the same 99% of the time. All the differentiation that each brand's marketing arm just falls in the small 1% difference in additives and minor base fuel differences.

Although resistant sa effects ng ethanol ang modern fuel systems,

hindi naman nagkaka-problem sa injectors, regular din palit ng fuel filters.
