Hi Guys,
Got any suggestion for an alternative engine oil for my 2008 Strada aside for casas Turbo Xp. Should it also be 15w-50? Thanks in advance!

Sir, as we mentioned in the other thread, its really up to the owner what brand of synthetic oil you want to use. Just make sure you buy a synthetic oil for diesel engine use. Now the the grade, just refer to your owner's manual. Most strada owner's use Motol, but you can go with royal purple, petron, shell, caltex oil basta its for diesel engine and same grade/rating as what's indicated sa owner's manual. use 10w40; 15w40; pwede din 5w40

you can opt for their mineral based turbo xp if you are in a budget and let it changed after 5000 kms. or some casa offered the much cheaper motul crdi synthetic at 450/li. IMO to avoid future disagreement stick to what casa recommends na lang within the warranty period.

Thanks for all the replys sirs! My units about to end its warranty period thats why Im already planning kung anong oil ang maganda as substitute sa casa's oil. Mahal kasi Turbo XP at P500/per liter.
