kakachange oil ko lang, about 1500 km palang tinakbo ng pajero ko. parang maitim na agad yung langis.
i used pertua na semi synth motor oil, is this ok?normal ba maitim agad langis?

also will be going to bauio ano pa kaialnagn check sa kotse besides water and air?

    that is normal.

kahit mga less than 5kms lang takbuhin mo after the oil change, maitim na agad yan. the reason is that hindi naman totally (100%) natatanggal ang engine oil mo. may natitira pa. so, nahahalo to sa bagong lagay na oil. then may mga carbon deposits rin sa internals ng engine mo, which the new oil would be dislodgeing and thus making it black.

check belts, hoses, wiper, washer, spare tire, all the fluids, tools, lights.

yup i agree with tebs. Napansin ko yan sa mga diesel engines, mas mabilis umitim ang engine oil as compared to gasoline engines.

Normal yan wd Diesel engine. Kahit pag 1st engine start palang after your change oil balck agad yan. Use fully synthetic oil yan di agad black ang oil engine mo or mag engine flash ka using new ordinary oil kahit 4lt lang idle your engine 2 to 3 min. hugasan mo yong oil filter mo. then remove it use Helix Ultra.

    Dude,
Tip lang. When you'll have an oil change especially sa mga casa or garages na dehins mo kita ung ride mo pag nag change oil is that make a marking sa luma mong oil filter before servicing then re-check it when its done. One time kasi, i had my ride to have its oil changed only to notice that they use the same old filter and just gave me another old filter. :D

Tama po ito. Ito rin kasi ang suggestion sakin ng bayaw ko. Some casas, dimo kita ang pag change oil, umo-order sila ng oil filter, oil, etc. so naka charge sayo yun, nasa receipt. Then kalabas-labasan, di nila nilalagay yung bago, yung luma parin ang ibinabalik, then binebenta nila sa labas yung bago.

better pag mag papalit ka ng langis sa casa before ka pumunta ay lagyan mo ng hidden mark ang oil filter mo ..na ikaw lang makaka-notice ..para in case ilagay nla na replace oil filter sa receipt at na tsek mo nandoon pa din ang mark mo ..it means di nila pinalitan or nilinis lang nila ..

tama si sir tebs..may oil residue (old oil)pa din sa loob ng engine mo..kahit nag change oil ka be it diesel or gas fed engine ..normal na lang iyon

agree ako sa kanila. better yet, when having a change oil, D-I-Y na lang. also, i strongly suggest synthetic motor oil. mas matipid sa krudo at less vibrations. also it can run up to 10K kms befor change oil ulit. just make sure, change the oil filter too.

Pwede 10k magpalit ng oil if use Fully synthitic oil but every 5k palit ng oil filter,
top up ka nalang if mabawasan yong oil after you change your oil filter.
I recomend Helix Ultra, 6lt. lang 4D56 engine.

If your oil turns black it means it is doing it's job that is taking the dirt and grime from your engine.

i agree with you bossing! Mas mabuti na umitim ang langis kesa maiwan ang deposits sa engine.

    Read this article:

    The Dark Oil Myth
Dark oil does not indicate the need for an oil change. The way modern detergent motor oil works is that minute particles of soot are suspended in the oil. These minute particles pose no danger to your engine, but they cause the oil to darken. A non-detergent oil would stay clearer than a detergent oil because all the soot would be left on the internal engine parts and would create sludge. If you never changed your oil, eventually the oil would no longer be able to suspend any more particles in the oil and sludge would form. Fortunately, by following the manufacturer's recommended oil change interval, you are changing your oil long before the oil has become saturated. Remember, a good oil should get dirty as it does it's work cleaning out the engine. The dispersant should stop all the gunk from depositing in the oil pan.

The only real way to determine whether oil is truly in need of changing is to have an oil analysis performed. Since most people don't want to bother with this, it's acceptable to err heavily on the safe side and simply follow the manufacturer's recommended change interval for severe service. There are still a few cars that specify 3K intervals for severe service, but not many. If you look at countries other than the U.S., the oil recommended change interval is much higher than even the normal interval specified by vehicle manufacturers in the U.S.
