    share ko lang.
had the unfortunate experience last sunday. we just came from cavinti, laguna and coming back to san pedro. the gas was less than a quarter full, so i filled up P500 worth of unleaded at a shell station (somewhere between losbanos and calamba). as we were cruising slex (on 5th gear)...my engine suddenly died on me!!! tried to re-start the engine while we were rolling...parang alang gas na pumapasok. mag-start sya sandali...then mamamatay ulit. it happened several times (re-start, after a few meters, patay ulit). luckily, malapit na ako sa exit namin. sa awa eh nkaabot din kmi sa bhay. since it was a sunday afternoon. had no chance to have it checked, until this saturday morning (didn't use the car the whole time - a big hassle).

ayun..check nila fuel filter..dami tubig!!! so they had to drain the rest and aerate the carburator etc. after test driving it...mukhang back to previous condition car ko.

tanong ko lang po: conclusive ba na ang culprit was the last gas fill ? possible ba na matagal ng may tubig sa tank ko...na-aggravate lang nung nag fill-up? tia!

im attaching some pix (cameraphone lang po).

i'd say ur problem came from the last P500 fillup.

baka naman walang maintenance ito sa kanyang fuel system, may regular check up yan.

Something almost similar happened to me during Holy Week last year. I have my van religiously maintained so I'm Sure everything's ok. On my way to Iba everything was silky smooth, then on my return trip to Manila, I filled up my tank with diesel at a Shell station located between Subic and Castillejos, a few kilometers after that, I noticed my van having a hard time going up on inclines and also looking at the rear view mirror, thick black smoke was coming out. Am glad nothing worse happened but shows you how a tank full of bad fuel can alter your car's performance.

I believe napilitan ka lang magkarga in this station right?
