Put a brick under the gas pedal hehehe. . . Kidding aside oil viscosity really helps kasi thinner oils tend to free the engine components and thus contributing to fuel economy. Pero If I Were you i'd stick to factory specs na lang, and ease of the gas pedal.

- keep your car in top condition.
- i also read na don't go beyond 80kph daw.
- make your car lighter, basic tools at spare tire lang ang dapat na laman ng compartment.
- +1 sa oem timing settings.
- correct tire pressure.
others:
kapag malapit lang pupuntahan, commute na lang.
OT:
malapit na naman ang weekend, tataas na naman ng piso. :-(

you can try doing hyper-mileing techniques when possible to stretch to the maximum each liter of fuel you have.
-smooth and easy acceleration
-moderate maximum speed
-use coasting as much as possible
-use the brakes as little as possible
-use the car's natural deceleration as you slow to a stop at intersections
