zildjian,
big savings iyan ah!

March 4th, 2003 11:20 PM #22Used Havoline Energy on my Toyota and
tried Havoline Fully Synthetic on my Honda.
Very good oils, definitely.
But these rounds of price increases have
resulted in these oils being very expensive.
So when I changed oil last weekend, I decided
to go back to mineral based 20W/50 oil.
Stumbled on a cheap brand in Hans Tools in
Shangrila Mall - Petronas Mach 5 20W/50
API SL for only P420.00 per gallon. They also
have synthetic blend and fully synthetic at prices
25% cheaper than Castrol, Mobil and Pennzoil.
I'll just go back to Havoline when oil prices
normalize. As it is now, panic prices are prevailing...

For me, sinubukan ko yung Citgo 10W-30. Thogh mineral based sya pero mataas ang API certfication nya API-SL at meets ILSAC GF3 so energy conserving din. Ang maganda pa dyan, it only costs Php 63.95/qt sa Price Smart! Meron ding available na 20W-50 and 10W-40. It's up to you kung ano ang gusto nyo. But for me, may tinipid sa gas and lumakas ng konti ang hatak ng Revo ko.

May 15th, 2003 09:46 PM #29We just had our accord tuned up (sa casa). Used Castrol GTX with synthetic guard 20W50, switched from LiquiMoly 20W50 din from autoxer.
The car, strangely, feels a bit slower, and slower revving. Does this make sense? Bat naging parang mas mabagal and parang mas malakas pa sa gas nung nagpatune up ako.
this is the castrol i got.

May 16th, 2003 01:07 AM #30Shell Helix Ultra. Resists heat soaking so well, oil temp doesn't rise too high on the track as fast as other oils, keeps hydraulic lifters really quiet too.
Pero I still change oil at 5,000km (more or less). Mas mura parin 3.5k++ kumpara sa new engine or overhaul.
10 years validity ko yehey , kaya lang sa june pa makukuha physical card :twak2:
