    lovelife body...

kotse ng misis ko. 67,000km sa odo. absolutely stock and still sariwa. the only thing i've done is replace a stuck up a/c compressor with a surplus compressor. the a/c tech then said ayaw na mag automatic so nilagyan ng ibang thermostat that clicks on and off.

ito kya yung cause ng high FC? measured it 3 times already, it's only 4-5 km/lit. i might as well be driving an expedition.

    at wala pa hatak.

something's wrong i know it... changed the filters, oil, spark plugs, alignment... ang hindi ko na lang nagagawa yung pa adjust yung valve tappets sa toyota, which the service advisor said was not unnecessary (?).

any ohter ideas? short of removing the temp a/c thermostat?

ang coimpressor pag hindi tugma sa load ng makina talagang malakas sa gas, either overworked sya unnecesarily or underpowered yung makina relative sa compressor, pa check mo muna, at yung sabi ng SA mo?

    "said was not unnecessary (?)."

    pag ganyan necessary pala yun....

Hehehe, a clear case of double negatives, leading to a positive result.

Re: fuel problem, have another A/C technician double check your compressor. For sure, nandun ang problema.

hehe. sorry i meant "not necessary"... typo my bad.

FC without a/c seems the same, but i haven't measured it yet. pero prior to the installation of the surplus compressor, ganda yung FC nya. nasa 9-10. yun nga parati namin gamit kasi matipid.

binalik ko na sa nagkabit sabi nya pareho lang daw sa lumang compressor yun, only diff was, surplus japan yung compressor. i'm guessing na baka compressor ng camry yun eh, kasi ang lakas talaga: bilis at consistent yung bomba ng freon kasi ang lamig lamig, beats the old old compressor even when it was new.

The size of the compressor also affects fuel consumption . . . Compare mo sa iba repakol ang size ng compressor.

normally kahit gaano kalaki compressor mo di ka naman dapat aabot sa ganyan milage. have the carb checked. kung wala ka hatak it's normally that which causes it kung maayos naman timing and tappets mo.

hmmm... time to overhaul the carburettor na kaya bro?

and it is true na yung engine nito needs no tappet adjustment? parang hindi ako makapaniwala eh, considering it's still carbed, e yung hondas ko FI na lahat kelangan pa din i-adjust....
