    Brods,

    Tulong naman po. Sa dinami-dami ng mga mekaniko na pinuntahan ko, wala pang makapagsabi kung anu tlga problema. 94 GLi po auto ko..yung 1.6 ang makina. Masyado po xang malakas sa gas tpos maitim masyado ang usok. Eto na po mga nagawa namin.

    1) Full Changed oil
    2) Timing belt replacent
    3) Air Cleaner (??)

    Pero eto yung compilation ng mga sinabi nung mga mekaniko na pinuntahan ko.

    1) SERVO REPLACEMENT --> 9.5K (parts), 350 (labor)
    2) TOP OVERHAUL --> 15K aabutin
    3) INJECTION FUEL REPLACEMENT --> P4500 each x (4)
    4) THROTTLE Repair (??)

    Medyo gipit sa budget sir kaya hingin ko lang sana opinion nyo kung anu tlga problema. Thanks.

    Nga pala mga sir,

    1) Napalitan ko na din spark plug pero 1 week lng, maitim na naman.
    2) Napalinis ko na yung air filter nun.. pero ganun parin.
    3) Possible ba na nasa Fuel filter at Air filter ang problema at pwedeng umayos kapag pinalitan ko?

    Pasenxa na madaming tanong. salamat.

    pa compression test ka muna para malamang mo if ok pa ang piston and rings mo. also malalaman din if ok pa mga valves mo. kumakain naba ng langis? may lumalabas ba na usok pag inalis mo oil filler cap or dipstick mo?

    sa O2 sensor makikita kung bakit rich yan .

    sample scenarios are ;

    if the O2 sensor is lazy and stuck at low,the result will be rich ,why ? it's because the ECM was seeing it as a very lean condition.

    coolant sensor ,if it stucked at cold ( 4-5 v reading is considered cold) the computer will give more fuel .

    or if the vacuum is low the map sensor will make it rich too (if equipped)

    alot of things to be checked first before attempting to change any major parts suspected.

    the best thing to do is you to find a shop who is specialized in ENGINE DIAGNOSTICS not the shops who can only change parts and get lucky .

    otherwise you're at risk of getting the same results and that will be a problem.

    Ganyan din sakin Sir ang lakas sa gas.
    Honda Civic 97
    Kaka change lang ng engine. after 3 mos nag check engine. Bumili ako ng OBD II scanner kaso mali ang socket di pareho sa akin. So nag youtube ako, nakita ko yung oldschool na diagnostics, nalaman ko na 02 sensor sa ilalim problema. Sinilip ko patay ang sensor. Mukhang nagmadali ang pagkakabit sa engine ko. Pero Duda din ako kung yun nga dahilan baka meron p iba. San kaya pwde magpacheck yung reliable mechanic talaga na hindi nanaga. Salamat po!
