air filter DIY

hey guys, i have a simota air filter (plate type). was wondering kung paano linisin yun medyo madumi na ata eh.

may nakita ata ako na cleaning kit for this? how much kaya yun?

k&n cleaning kits are around 1000 and up. of course you could use simple water and soap pero doing so will remove the filters protective oil which keeps the dirt particles out of your engine. up to you tho. i say go with the cleaning kit!

But how much WD40 should be enough? Paano ko malalaman kung hindi sobra ang pag-apply ko ng WD40?

i doubt this will be as effective as the cleaning kit pero kung tipid yung habol mo then you can't get much cheaper than this
