5 Things You Should Never Do In A Brand New Car - YouTube

To summarize: DO NOT go beyond 4000 rpm ...

Proper break-in is important for the reliability, performance, and longevity of your vehicle. Part of the way you make sure your engine lasts is through how you drive your new car for those first thousand miles (check your owner's manual for the exact mileage). There are several things which you should avoid doing, including giving your vehicle full throttle, taking your engine to redline, using cruise control, traveling short distances, and towing. We'll talk about various different engine break-in procedures, used in the Nissan GT-R, Acura NSX, Chevrolet Corvette, and even a land-speed record car built by an FCA engineer as a hobby.

Problem is that some (or maybe most) dealer empoyees drive it like they stole it when delivering vehicles from the plant to the dealer ...

Don't over rev the engine when breaking-in but don't baby it either ...

The fact is kotse yan. And revving it by 4k is already way beyond 120 kph, so parang minsan lang pwedeng mangyari.
One thing you should never do is to smoke, eat and drink. Conserves the new look and smell.
Yung sa akin, 5 years na, pristine pa din ang interiors.

Scratches and dents, di maiiwasan yan.
And just follow the preventive maintenance schedule.
Don't scrimp on oil. Sabi nga ni Shell, your oil is the lifeblood of your car.
