is 10w-30 mineral motor oil available ?

Hello Guys !

I've been trying to find 10w-40 or 10w-30 mineral motor oil. Unfortunately, the shops I've asked all say that only synthetic has those viscosity.

I was wondering if anyone has seen 10w-30 or 10w-40 mineral oils around metro manila and how much ?

While we're at it, has anyone seen shops in metro selling specifically high-mileage motor oils ?

It is my impression that high mileage cars need gas engine oil with higher viscosity rating. What is wrong with 20W-50 rating that it warrants finding an alternative?

sa Honda mineral oil nila ang 10W-30, ang full synt nila is 5W-40

10w-30 oils run smoother than 20w-50. As far as what is the correct viscosity to use for high mileage cars is a subject discussed with differing opinions by different people. But to each his own.

yung 10w-30 sa honda, di ba gamit nila sa manual transmission?

castrol magnatec, despite claiming to be semi syn, is actually mineral. kaya pwede ito. mura pa, at may magnetic particles daw, hehehe.

engine oil ang gamit ng honda sa m/t transmissions nila. but not just any engine oil, dapat 10w and thinner.

I just checked with honda magallanes .... Honda 10w-30 mineral oil at 720 per liter. nice !
