were you using the vehicle on a daily, regular basis?
or were you using it only sparingly, po?
did you have a trickle charger?

On my Vios. motolite gold 1snf bought July 2014. Its already 40mos since

my car is AT and even if still starting the engine, I'm thinking of replacing it with Amaron hi life.

I can't believe this. And I am not complaining.

My Amaron battery is 5 yr and 2 mos already! That's considering I don't use the car for weeks at a time. I think the record here in 7? I hope mine lasts that long also

any thoughts on hooking up a float charger (13.5 to 13.8v) while the car is parked?

on my weekend car i simply disconnect the battery to prevent parasitic drain. so maybe a float charger would extend the life even more

I have a new record, it's 18 months, 3 months short of the 21 month warranty period

Which is why, I suspect that my charging system might be faulty.
