What is the Longest Life of your Car Battery?

dun sa mga tumatagal over 2 years; ilan KM an tinakbo. sakin kasi lumampas lang ng 15 months (3 weeks after warranty).

exactsame battery.
yung isang car namin, long distance drives. battery warrantied for 12 months only, lasted over 4 years.
our other car, same model, short drives only, less than 6 km distances. the battery warrantied for 12 months, died on its 13th month.

- 1st battery of 2005 Innova AT gas (OEM low-maintenance GS battery) was used for 6 yrs (pinalitan ko lang dahil medyo lumobo na ang kanyang side wall, apart from that ay okay pa sya). has experienced one case of "accidental" deep discharging

- current 2nd battery of same car is Motolite gold & has clocked more than 6 yrs already... one click start pa rin sya hanggang ngayon

mahigit 200k km na ang natatakbo nya... sabi ko nga kay wifey na itong innova namin ang most reliable car we have in terms of car electrical system.

I think i am now impressed with the Toyota line of RevO and Innova if indeed consistent here... Enduro lang na 18 months, e 4 years+ ang buhay?

Enduro lasted 25months sa Alterra. Stock battery ng 2012 innova mtic diesel. Lasted exactly 3 years. Hindi pa naman bumigay. Medyo mahina na sa starting kaya pinalitan ko na.

5+ years on motolite excel (green, the original packaging na buong battery green, not just the top part) 1snf.

it came with the car, i used the car for 5 years bago ko pinalitan ang battery kasi baka bigla na lang di magstart. daily driver (except coding), open parking, at least 3 hour drive (half sa gabi with usual electrical load load na radio, headlight, foglight, etc).

jumper cables didnt do shyt. even after idling and revving the corolla. contacts were checked multiple times. eventually we had to get the battery guy over and replace the battery on-site. first crank works perfectly. 550cca replacement - 3500php damage.

this was also my experience with the wigo.
i couldn't start her, even with jumpers. but the newly installed battery started the engine at the first click.
maybe next time, i'll disconnect one terminal of the donor battery, from its car.
why? i dunno.

hindi yata.
i think it's the state of chronic undercharge, that the battery degenerates from, the fastest. when i go home, it's dark, so my lights are on. short distance na, headlights on pa yung kalahati.
short distance driving may not fully charge the battery.

ot: yokohama 10 months lang bumigay na. nabwisit lang ako ng delivery ng motolite kaya yokohama nabili ko.
tapos ang warranty try lang daw icharge.
