sa alam ko hindi naman. ako kasi yung lancer 2002 ko namatayan ng battery, after kasi dinala ko sa casa to replace the bumper e di pala nila nahigpitan yun battery terminals kaya dead battery ko after 2 weeks driving it. yun pag start ko ulit ayaw na. so kinuha ko yung battery ng FX ko, start ng engine, then removed battery, put back old battery and then byahe. ang malas nga lang dahil totally discharged yun battery ko e nasira na (1-1/2 years na kaya due for replacement na rin siguro). 1SM lang yun. so next day kuha ko ulit yun FX battery then start ulit. malaki yung battery ng FX (3SM) di kasya kaya tanggal ulit ng battery then went to the battery shop to buy a new one. di ko na nga nilagay yung old battery eh, nasa trunk na lang at dinala ko lang pang-trade in (worth 100 pesos, sayang din yun hehehe!) 2SM na binili ko, pinagkasya namin, palit lang naman ng hold down screws na mas mahaba.

meron ako nakita dati sa SM na emergency battery system, parang maliit na attache case. good for 3 starts daw. may small rechargeable battery with jumper cables sa loob. kaso mas mahal pa sa new battery kaya di ako bumili.

marami pa ring gumagawa nito at wala namang damage nangyayari

mabuti na lang, super tibay naman yung regulator ic at mga diodes sa alternator kaya kadalasan hindi nakakasira ang "tanggal battery technique" ... pero kahit anong mangyari, hindi ko papayagang gawin ito sa oto ko ... mahirap na, i'm not taking chances ... the reason why i have a jumper in my car

Most jumper cables today cannot supply the proper amount of voltage to start a vehicle with a flat battery. Just ask afrasay.

I almost swapped out a Frontier's flat battery for mine because the damn jumper cables wouldn't carry enough juice. Buti na lang gumana after much repositioning and much swearing. hehehe.

My brother also swapped out an Accord A/T's flat battery sa mall. Buti na lang may nagpahiram ng live battery. Buhay pa naman yung Accord. Walang naprito.

regarding the jumper cables, kaya siguro ganyan otep kasi mahinang klase yun clamps na gamit. as per the cable size palagay ko ok, oversized pa nga eh. ako kasi nag-jumper na din ako dati with my old 323 ang gamit ko is just gauge 12 stranded wire. dami beses ko na ginawa, ipit lang yung wire sa battery clamps mismo. yung clamps kasi ng jumper cables available locally walang lakas, pambading yata eh. so bad connection ang labas.

Baka nga yung clamps. Parang hindi conductive, eh. Ang dali pa magkalawang.

nagkaproblema na rin ako sa mga jumper cables ... the problem is not cable size nor the clamp, more often it is the contact between cable and clamp ... the crimping is bad or not tight enough to carry starting current ... best solution is to solder/weld the junction

Guys bumili nalang kayo ng jumpstarter. 2700 ito. charge mo lang in your house then keep it in your car na. check once in a while kung kailangan charge. Ikakabit lang ito sa battery then turn the key to on then start your car. it's the easiest, simplest way to start a dead battery. It is strong enough to start a car without a battery. Maliit lang ito, not so heavy and a real life saver when ayaw mo mapahiya.

Pwede itulak ang matic. put it in neutral then jam it into L. If you are being towed, pwede na magsimula na nasa drive. kung may konting battery pa, sabayan mo ng start pag kumapit na yung torque converter

Typically, the problem is poor contact between the clamp and your battery post/terminal.

We even do jumpstarts using #12 solid copper wires without a hitch. You have to maintain the cable clamp/battery posts in clean condition to assure good electrical contact. Keep them clean and give the battery posts a lil drip of clean engine oil, a thin smear of grease or a lil WD-40.
