Water Temperate Gauge Problem?

Got the same problem on my Corolla GL, 91 model. After ko ipagawa yung transmission, ayaw na gumana ng temp gauge. Di ko pa nababalik sa mechanic pero is there a chance na may matanggal na connection ng dahil lang sa pagbaba ng transmission?

are the back-up lights dead, too?
other functions that are dead?
maybe the temp gauge and this other item, shares the same fuse..?
