UltraGauge DIY

My UltraGauge (UG) arrived in the mail this afternoon. It took me a while to figure out where to put it, as it can't be mounted where my ScanGaugeII was (under the A/C controls). Anyway, planning, installation, and configuration of the gauges took about an hour and a half.

This is what I had to start with. The fog light switch used to be in the center and I had to move it to the left-most slot to give room for the UG.


Stuck some 3M Dual Lock fasteners on one of the blanking panel and behind the UG mounting bracket.


Attached the bracket.


Mounted the UG on the bracket and powered up (connected to the car's OBD-II/DLC connector)



I routed the cable in a way so it won't get pinched by the door when it is closed. It goes down inside the weather strip, towards the MICU/fuse box, went under the steering column, and finally to the DLC connector. Tidied up a bit with a few zip ties.

Okay lang mabilad sa araw yung ultragauge sir. Yung akin naglooloose yung sa obd2 port pag natatagtag.

When I sold my Civic, my UltraGauge fell into disuse. The Innova is not OBD-II compliant so the UG doesn't work on it.

Pano ka nag ka unit bro? Nag paship karin dito sa pinas? Pwede kaya pabili ako sa US then pa lbc ko nalang sa kamaganak?

para madali try mo bili sa amazon tapos padala mo via johnny air cargo. i tried this recently and in a week's time nakuha ko naman iyong purchase ko hassle free

actually ganito siguro gagawin ko kung i-push through ko bili ng blue driver obd2 blue tooth scanner. i'm just not sure yet if it works on the monty seamlessly

actually ganito siguro gagawin ko kung i-push through ko bili ng blue driver obd2 blue tooth scanner. i'm just not sure yet if it works on the monty seamlessly

Plan ko is bilhin ko online papadeliver ko sa kamag anak sa US then sila na pa LBC dito sa pinas 30 dollars daw. Gusto narin dagdagan order ko para benta yung iba para offset kahit yung gastos q sa delivery.

Active reader din ako don bro. 2014 pa yung group buy and nag ask narin ako wala na. Mukhang sa US na nga ako makakuha.
