    Will the speedometer read the same KPH/MPH on Automatic or Manual transmissions

    There should be no difference. The speedo counts the number of times the wheels turn and doesn't care about the transmission type. Your speedo will be out of calibration if tires of a different diameter than the norm are used.

    Thank you for the replies sirs. Btw, where do this cables/wirings of speedo attached? Nalilito kasi ako sa tinatawag nilang gearbox ba yun? May problema po kasi yung speedo namin, di pumapalo yung needle niya, ok naman speed sensor, sa connection sa dashboard na po kaya yung problema nito?

    There is a cable that runs from your speedo to a gear inside the gearbox/transmission. Baka putol na.

    thank you po sir sa link. May alam po ba kayo na pwede mabilhan ng motor ng gear sensor? may ganoon daw po kasi sa banawe kaso masyado malayo. Ginagamit po siya pangtest ng speedometer gauge

    Para sa anong car ba yang tinatanong mo bro?

    Dalawang klase kasi yan... cable type na may gear sa dulo and meron din electronic speed sensor...

    Mga sir, mabalik lang po sa topic, bakit po pareho lang ang readings ng speedo nila kahit sa magkaibang transmission? any articles/links po na nagpapatunay dito? Wala kasi ako mahanap po. Thankyou po

Is there any difference in speedometer reading if you are automatic or manual
