After how many seconds did your heater function after you started your engine? Heater timer are design to stay on for a longer period when starting from a cold engine. When your heater light in your dashboard goes off it is an indication that you can now start your engine. It doesn't indicate that the heat plug is still supplied with current. Listen to the relay that clicks a few seconds after the engine has started.

Hi! My problem is the heater timer does not turns off, after the engine is running for more that 3 mins. I do follow the light indicator at the dashboard before starting the engine. And I observe that the dashboard light indicator turns off in a few seconds. There a lots of relays in the comparment. And I don't hear any click after engine running. I need to know the exact location of the timer switch or relay. Thanks.
