Since asa battery na din lang tayo...Di ba I should have no modifications to be done kc i want to change mine from 1SM to 2SM? As simple as plug n play lang di bah? Tama po bah?

Ano ba diff nila aside from capacity?

only difference sir may be the battery tray and clamp.

based on experience din po, if you're going to a bigger battery size make sure po na hindi tumatama ang pole sa hood pag sinara. experienced this on my old '89 galant when i put in a 3sm cell, di ko lang sure kung dahil iyon sa nakalundo na yung hood. konting pihit lang noon ng rubber stopper para tumaas ng onte yung hood and just to make sure nagkabit lang ako ng rubber pad sa hood above the pole para hindi ma-short.

follow-up question lang po: yung high-end maintenance-free batteries ng motolite (excel/platinum) apparently have more plates, so a 1sm excel would be equivalent to a regular 2sm and so on. any comments on this po?

Basta 12V at nagkasya sa tray, pwede iyan. Nagkakaiba lang naman usually is yung reserve capacity and CCA (cold cranking amps). Bigger batteries can support more load and can run longer without the engine.

so outlast pala maganda? kc kami laging motolite pag 2 years na humihina na, btw magkano b yung outlast?

My current battery is Motolite Gold Maintenance Free with 15 months warranty. So far 22 months na siya and running good.:D

IMO, suwerte suwertehan lang ang pagbili ng battery, nakagamit na ako ng motolite and outlast na palpak, pero yung last na nabili kong Motolite nasa 4.5 yrs. na and still 1 click pa rin. Kaya di mo rin minsan masabi kung alin ang mas matibay.
