Guys need help, what could be the possible reason why my battery won't hold charge despite na bagong gawa na ang alternator (then pina-check ko ulit sa ibang auto electrical specialist shop, wala naman daw problema at maganda rin naman daw yung pagkakagawa nung previous shop na pinuntahan ko), and my battery is Motolite Enduro 1snf -- 5 mos. old pa lang. malakas naman siya yun nga lang after a minutes or hours of driving na-ddrain/didischarge siya, since bukas lahat ng accessories ko like aux fan, aircon & stereo kaya after use e, sinasalang ko siya sa isang sasakyan ko para magkarga ulit. btw, Toyota Corolla XE (2e Engine)

check the current to and coming out of the battery with a simple , humble and inexpensive ammeter. check for parasitic load or drain

Soli mo sa motolite? They can check for parasitic load on site. Dati, sira talaga battery and they replace ours for free.

na-didischarge ang battery mo habang nag-da-drive??!! baka electrical connections yan.. baka hindi uma-abot ang alternator electricity sa battery dahil sa bad connection..
but that should be easy to check.. bring to a qualified auto electrician.. bring to motolite outlet. they'll do the checking right, because it may save them the cost of giving you a new battery.. heh heh.

Try mo check yung battery clamps. Malamang maluwag na kaya hindi nagchacharge ng maayos. Happened to my beloved Lancer.

To check if the alternator is charging the battery:
    - start the engine
    - disconnect either the negative or positive battery terminal
If the engine dies..the alternator is not charging

nag iingay ba sasakyan? baka nag slip ang alternator pulley kaya hindi na chcharge. kahit sira baterya mo, basta okay alternator walang problema dapat. problema mo lang hindi mo ma start sasakyan pag sira baterya that won't hold charge.

If the battery discharges while engine is running, then the alternator current is not enough to supply to the electrical loads. Check the voltage while engine is running on idle with all usual electrical loads on (head lights, stereo, aircon, etc.). The voltage should not go lower than 12V.

for probably lack of tools/equipment and understanding your car's problem, you can try to isolate the battery by disconnecting the negative terminal when you park for the night and check if the battery is still charged in the morning. this will differentiate excessive parasitic load from a bad battery. if your battery does not have a hold down, chances are the battery is partially shorted by the flakes of lead compounds that fell off to the bottom of the battery shorting out the positive and negative plates.
