Which brand is Better? NGK or Nippondenso.

Im planning to change my stock spark plug to Platinum. Is it worth it for every 10k tuneup? My car is 2003 Altis E

minimal changes lang yang platinum, kung meron nga. mostly, platinum or iridium plugs are only used for race cars. if i were you i will still use the stock plugs that you have been using.

stock or light mod engine... better to use regular sparkplugs and just change them every 5000 or 10000 km.

Platinum is good in the long run, copper is better conductor so stick with stock plugs. ;)

True you will not feel any performance difference. However, with a four tip plug or an iridium plug, you will have better combustion which will mean better fuel efficiency and cleaner emmissions.

platinum tip plugs offer a better combustion which results in a more fuel efficient car.

i would suggest you get a denso platinum tip boxed in a toyota oem label for your altis.

the only reason car manufacturers uses carbon tip plugs for our car is the cost but you'll notice that higher end engines comes in with platinum or iridium tips. if your familiar with toyota engines, 4AG engines that comes out in corolla levin car have platinum plugs as their stock plugs.

platinum and iridium tip also offer a longer service life of around 60T km meaning they are cheaper in the long run.

addendum lang sa post ni thunderbolt. Since Denso iridium plugs have a smaller tip (0.4mm ) than the NGK iridium, service life nya is rated at around 45,000 KM only. The NGK iridium will last longer.

Another thing. Iridium is tougher than platinum. Mas extended ang service life nya. Mas mahal nga lang din.,
