better get an imax b6. even just a clone

there was one time i went to US for a few months. when i came back car wouldn't start. good thing i bought an imax b6 for like $15 in the US. na sulit na kaagad

it also charges lithium-ion, nicd/nimh. balance charging up to 6-series lithium-ion. so it can charge pretty much anything in the house, even cordless tools

the panther i got has a relative low maximum capacity of only 12 amp.
the approximate charging times vis a vis your battery's rating, are printed on the casing naman.
as the battery reaches full charge, the amp drain goes down.

in actual usage, i use it only rarely. something like once or twice per battery.
i use it when the battery can't start the car, which is usually after the warranty expires. i charge the battery for, at most, 30 minutes, just so i can start the car.
once i am able to start the car after charging the battery, my next stop is the battery store.

    nope.
but if you want to inspect it to see if it still has all the plates covered with liquid, you will have to open it.
there are warranty issues. "open at your own risk".
what do i recommend? open the day after the warranty expires.

Have you guys tried CTEK smart car battery charger?

    I think Blade carries CTEK.

    Known models:

    1) CTEK MXS 3.8 EU at 5,280.00

    2) CTEK MXS 5.0 at 6,100.00

Please share if any one of you tried CTEK.

Furthermore, Blade offers SPARCO intelligent car charger. Priced at 2,500.00

Grab the CTek.[emoji106] Even Jay uses em in his garage.

A number of iStop Skyactiv owners use the CTek CT5 Start/Stop.

Yes the CTEK is highly recommended.

Sayang when I was in the US the price I saw was half the price being offered here. Yun nga lang 110V.

Another brand I am considering is the Panther. Priced at 3500. They have two models. One for 12 volts and the other one for 24 volts.
