i ended up buying the motolite because the dealer says that the SF Sonic cannot be easily topped up w/ water

I was about to start a new thread for SF Sonic, til I saw this. Any updates po sa mga users of this battery brand?

Bibili sana ko ng Amaron dito sa official distributor sa Lipa but one of the owners approached me and recommended SF Sonic. More than 3 years na daw yung kanya. Mukhang pinupush talaga nila yung brand so yun na lang binili ko matry na din. I researched about it Exide naman pala ito (sub-brand), one of the top players in India main competitor ng Amaron (Blue vs Green). Japan technology via Furukawa (SF means Standard Furukawa), compared to Amaron na American tech via Johnson Controls. Sabi kasi ni seller mas maganda daw etoh pero di ko matandaan yung eksaktong sinabi kaya ako napabili, mas mabigat at high endurance yata pero at the same price with Amaron. Tsaka yung warranty is 21 months compared to Amaron na 18 months so better value for money. Mas mabili (in demand yata ginamit na term) pa nga daw sa kanila at hinahanap yung SF Sonic ngayon.

Been with Motolite Gold that lasted for 3.5 years, Panasonic (forgot the variant, yung puti) lasted 2.5 years, bought at P4400. Sana magtagal tong SF Sonic, Im expecting na tropicalized din toh since its from India. Amaron lined up for our other SUV.

Dun sa mga matagal nang users at experts, update naman kayo sige na. hehe.
