when to do this? how does this work? what if i am just too frustrated and i am an oc person and i just want this done to my car, what are the precautions that i need to take? points that needs to be given attention? any suggestions?

Why do you want your car rewired? Did you identify anything wrong with the wiring? If not, I suggest you leave it alone.

From my humble experience, the only time I had my past cars rewired is if (a) the car had a major body repair thus it was necessary to replace old/brittle/frayed wires or (b) the electrican and I had identified something wrong i.e. wrong grounding or "over voltage".

Tampering with a car's electrical and wiring system that has no identified problems is inviting trouble IMO.

Think of it this way: would you rewire your house because you feel like it? I guess not but since you say you're an OC person, maybe you will.

the first question that came to my mind for you is... why?

take it from me bro, "if it ain't broke, don't fix." to exaggerate on things, apply the KISS principle.. Keep It Simple S*&^%d!. No offense, but it goes that way.

Deal with it when you find out there is something wrong. I don't see the point in rewiring your car if there is nothing wrong with it.

Maybe what you are trying to say is fixing the harness to take away the clutter? Muka na bang gubat ang wiring mo? Is that what you are after? If that is what you want, its quite easier than rewiring perse. They call this wire tucking if i am not mistaken. Just remember to put on labels.

One of the best tools that you can use here is a digi cam.

+1 here... if theres no problem with the cars electrical then just leave it as is. one wrong wiring could do more trouble.

ahahah these are great info guys. wala lang naisip ko lang. di naman ako magpaparewire. nadinig ko lang kasi sa usapan ng iba and gusto kong malaman kung ano ba talaga tong rewiring process na to... teynks po
