unfortunately your sentra placed your PRND2L switch under the battery tray. when the battery spews electrolyte, it drips straight to the PRND2L switch. it is not too difficult however, to repair the switch. take it off the transaxle and tear it open on a workbench being careful not to lose small springs and contacts. there has to be worn contacts inside. you can use a light sandpaper to resurface the contacts and it should work fine. or purchase a replacement( dealer part only) for a fortune.
